Here at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital we carry many options for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Our selection is by prescription only, therefore you must be a current client and your animal must have been examined within the past year.
Also, in order for our veterinarians to prescribe heartworm prevention for your animal, he or she must have an exam and a heartworm test done within the past year.

For feline heartworm prevention we carry Interceptor. This is a small treat-like tablet that is given monthly to help prevent heartworm disease, roundworms, and hookworms. There is an online rebate of $5 off 6 doses or $15 off 12 doses. In order for your veterinarian to prescribe Interceptor for your cat, he or she must have a current exam and heartworm test.
