Preanesthetic blood and urine screenings are routinely performed to uncover any hidden health issues that could pose risk to patients. Our hospital has piped oxygen throughout and every anesthetized animal has its cardiac status, blood pressure, and oxygen level continuously monitored throughout the procedure. All patients receive intravenous fluid therapy and a surgical mat with heated, circulating water ensures that the animal’s body temperature stays normal.
